Our second meeting of the year will be tomorrow, Wednesday, October 19 at First Presbyterian Church. We're focusing on service this month with a speaker from Bethany Christian Services. Come learn about foster care, adoption, safe families, and other opportunities to serve this great organization! Our children will also be learning about service in October as they fill boxes for Operation Christmas Child.
Nursery opens at 9:15, coffee and fellowship upstairs at 9:30, and the program starts with door prizes at 9:45.
Contact Kate Treick (katetreick(at)yahoo.com) with any questions. Invite your friends!

Info about Operation Christmas Child:
ReplyDeleteWe are asking each family to fill one box. If your little one is an infant and you don't want to participate, that's fine. If you want to bring fillers for a box, we have plenty of kids to fill one for you. :) Each box costs $7 for shipping and handling. If you can contribute to this, please bring cash or a check for $7 made out to me (Kate Treick); I will be writing one check for the whole group. We will also be tracking our packages; it will be cool to find out where in the world our Christmas boxes end up! :)
